Instead, you should be implementing a strict regular cleaning schedule that includes dusting, hoovering, floor washing, bathroom cleaning as well as providing fresh linen and towels. Nothing should be left untouched, even those areas that you think that nobody will ever look (like behind the radiators!). If you really want to stand out you could also consider leaving a gift for when your guests arrive at your property, such as champagne, a hamper and a toy for the kids, or maybe all three!

If possible, ensure that your guests receive a truly personal experience by meeting them on their arrival at your property. This way you can give them a guide around and explain things (like how to use the oven and shower) as well as answer any questions that they’re bound to have about the property and local attractions.

This could make all the difference when it comes to future bookings.
